How do I create an account?

To create an account simply click the “Sign up” button and enter your Email, Full name, Phone number and a Password. You will also need to check the box agreeing to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You will be sent an activation link to the email address that you entered. Once you click the activation link in your email, your account will be ready to go.

How do I sign in to the website?

In order to sign in you need to click on the “Log in” button and enter your Email and Password.

Oops, I forgot my password! How can I reset it?

If you forget your password, you can click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link below the Sign In screen. You will be prompted to enter your email address and click “Submit”. If the email you entered matches an existing account, we will email a password reset link to this email.

How do I search for Content Providers?

In order to search for Content Providers on VidSpeak you simply need to click on the Search Button and type the name, handle or domain name of the Content Provider. A drop-down list of results will automatically populate and you can select a profile from this list.

How can I view and purchase a video chat session?

Once you are on a Content Provider’s store profile page, you can click to open any of the listings on their page.

How do I purchase a Video Chat Session?

To purchase a session, you need to select a session time and the length of time that you would like the chat to last. If needed, you can also select any available addons from the list of “Extra options”. Once you have selected all of these options you can click the “Add To Cart” button. Once added, you can click on the “My Cart” button at the top right of the website. In your cart, you can click purchase and enter payment information to complete the transaction. If you had selected any Extra options, you will need to add your address information before completing the purchase.

What are Extra options?

Extra options are addons that you can select and purchase alongside your video chat session. These addons range in selection depending on the content provider. Addons will be shipped to you within 14 days of completion of your Video Chat session.

I have purchased a Video Chat session. Now what?

Once your purchase has been completed, you can click on the “My Account” button and then navigate to the “My Orders” page. There you will see all of your orders.

My order status shows up as “New”. Why can’t I visit the chatroom yet?

If your order was made more than 12-hours in advance of the chat time, you must wait until the 12-hour mark for a link to the chat to be generated. If it was purchased within the 12-hour time frame, a link to the chatroom will be generated within 20 minutes of your purchase. Once the link to the chatroom has been generated, you will receive email confirmation and your order page will display a “Visit Room” button.

How can I cancel my order?

We allow order cancellations up to 12 hours in advanced of the Video Chat session. If your purchase is made within the 12-hour period prior to the chat, you will have approximately 10 minutes to cancel the order before our system automatically generates a Chat Room link.

My order status shows up as “Ready”. Can I start the chat now?

Once your Chat Room link has been generated, you will be able to visit the Chat Room via your “My Orders” page. You should enter the Chat Room 10 minutes before the scheduled chat time and wait for the content provider to enter the room.

How do I download the Archived Video Chat Footage?

Upon completion of your video chat, our system will automatically upload a session archive which you can then click to view and download. If you want to access this archived video footage at a later date, you must go to your orders page and click on the “Download” button for that specific order.
